Why work for us?
Our employees tell us that it's the people and the friendly atmosphere that puts them at their ease. It's the challenge of their role, the variety and the chance to be creative. We're not a massive company so we're able to be flexible and are often reacting fast to change. That can often mean that no two days are ever the same.
Across the entire company there is a definite feeling of 'team'. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, roles are clear and defined. There's always the opportunity to spread your wings and progression is always a possibility. Roscom believe in internal promotion and always look internally first for candidates and for new positions of responsibility.
Roscom are committed to working towards the Investors in People (IIP) accreditation, which is the national standard for best practice in people management. This is a long term commitment to support and develop our staff and encourage them to reach their full potential. It will help us identify any gaps in communication and development. We do our best not to be bureaucratic, and to give employees ownership of their roles and responsibilities. We undertake to recognise achievements and properly consider people's career aspirations.
We are so proud of our successes that we deliberately only hire the right candidates. No matter the time pressure we are under we will always take the time to recruit the right person. We have a thorough recruitment process (by design) with CV screening, personality and aptitude testing and psychometric testing all be to be completed before we interview. If you're interested in us, our company, our values, the challenges and the career opportunities we can offer then please apply - to the right people the door is always open!
