At Roscom we have been key witnesses on how the use of Osprey has expanded into new business areas within the telecommunications industry. This natural evolution has been driven by new requirements from bussiness functions such as: Revenue Assurance, Audit, Marketing, IT, Billing and Regulatory Compliance. Over the last year, we have been working very hard trying to identify and define the different domains in which Osprey provides value to our customers. The outcome has been the following risk model which clearly separates key functions that can benefit from the use of a TCG in their efforts of mitigating risk. TCG Drivers
This model supports our view that an insightful and proactive testing strategy can provide key performance indicators (KPIs) that are aligned to the individual needs of each business function. The fact that Osprey features additional modules which automatically validate xDRs, Metering, Rating and Billing means that one set of tests events can be analysed on a TRUE End to End fashion from handset to invoice.
Bellow are some examples of key drivers for the use of TCGs.
